A newly formed club at APU is working to promote and create awareness among students about the benefits of vegetarian/vegan food at APU.
MEANING
To begin with, vegan means a person or lifestyle that consumes mainly plant-based products and no animal products.
The term is based on a variety of factors, including environmental and food issues, animal protection, and health.
Therefore, this organization was established with the hope of creating an opportunity to think more deeply about the global environment and food, using vegan and vegetarian knowledge and information as a clue (HINT).
Vege Project is a non-profit organization working to increase vegan and vegetarian options in Japan. They are helping to create a society that respects diversity, the environment, the lives of animals, and people’s health. Its missio可)
